Actress Sonam Kapoor Writing A Romantic Novel
Sonam Kapoor's getting it write. SK is known to gung ho about mushy romantic novels. Reportedly, Sonny Girl will now take her proclivity to a new high… by turning author. Word has it, that SK has already cottoned onto a subject that she's keen to explore.
"I love fairy tale romances with joyful endings," admits Sonny in a media chat. "And my book is going to be no different. For years, I've been contemplating writing a romantic novel, because the genre has always fascinated me."Confessing to having enjoyed the "beautiful simplicity of complex classics", Sonny admits that the novels of Jane Austen such as 'Sense And Sensibiity,' 'Pride And Prejudice', 'Emma' and 'Mansfield Park' were instrumental in stirring the latent writer in her.
The actress, however, is swift to clarify that her propensity for love tales in 'I Hate Luv Storys' has little to do with her latest obsession. States Sonny, "I had always wanted to write, much, much before I signed on for 'IHLS'. But now the time has come."
However, pulpy novel heroines who languish in the throes of unreciprocated romance don't bag Sonny's vote, and the actress asserts that, "I don't like unrequited love. As far as I'm concerned, love should always be fulfilled and cherished."
Guess, a certain Punit Malhotra agrees heartily. ;)))))))))))
