Dealing with the subject of infidelity and extra-marital affairs, Mr Singh Mrs Mehta is touted to be a bold movie. British actress Aruna Shields has even posed naked for a scene in it. 

‘If the world was perfect they would never have met’ says the film’s punchline about its two main protagonists. Set in London, Mr Singh Mrs Mehta is the story of Ashwin (Proshannt Narayanan) and Neera (Aruna Shields) who find out that their spouses are having an affair.

Drawn together by shame and anger, they find comfort in their growing friendship, even as they resolve not to be like their unfaithful mates. The movie is the directorial debut of Pravesh Bhardwaj and features music by the Grammy nominated artist Ustad Shujaat Hussain Khan.

The movie’s posters were unveiled recently and the bold still of Aruna’s bare back which has already made their way to the internet can be seen as a hot poster of the film.
