Preity Zinta Is Planning To Disassociate Herself From The IPL

Hello hello... How goes it with you my dimsums? As for me, I'm perplexed by the way some people are happy the rains have started, a little here and a little there. I'd rather it poured billis and kutta kameenas instead. That would do us all a lot more good. Until then, let's get on with what everyone in tinsel town is gupshupping about.

For starters, it seems as if Preity Zinta has had enough of the Indian Premiere League (IPL). My birdy from Bandra has just dropped in to tell me that the actress-businesswoman is planning to disassociate herself from the IPL before the next season. Can't blame her for thinking on these lines. I'm informed that there are quite a few reasons for Zinta to say bye-bye to her team, Kings XI Punjab.

Apparently, one of the main reasons is her break-up with Ness Wadia, who also owns a considerable stake in the team.

Suna hai, things weren't exactly hunky dory on the professional front between the two, after they snapped their personal ties. Reportedly, there were frequent tu tu main main sessions over a good number of issues that caused them to gradually drift apart.

Birdy reminds me that PZ offered her stake in Kings XI Punjab for sale some time ago, but is yet to get a suitable price for it. Guess that's taking time, thanks to the team lagging near the bottom of the points table of the IPL-3. Tsk tsk.
