Actor Om Puri’s Flat Was Burgled

Om Puri’s flat in the Andheri area of Mumbai was burgled late on the night of July 8, and the robbers made off with Rs 1 lakh in cash and jewellery said to be valued at Rs 75,000.

The actor and his wife Nandita have two houses in the area and this one was used for their son Ishaan’s things.

It seems that Ishaan was the one who discovered the robbery when he went there to collect some of his things.

A case has been filed with the police, and it seems that the building’s security guards are suspects, though no arrests have been made so far.
